Dr. O.P. Chhabra did his M.B.B.S. from Govt. Medical College Patiala in 1963 & worked in different capacities with Govt. of India at Lal Bahadur Shastri Academy of administration, Mussourie, from where he was selected for deputation on foreign assignment with govt. of Tanzania, Nigeria. It was during this period that he came in contact with chinese doctors practising acupuncture.

He was astonished to see wonderful results in so called incurable ,chronic diseases in modern system of medicine (e.g. Asthma, Migraine, Slip disc ,Paralysis) he started learning this therapy and later did MD (AC), Gold Medalist from Institute of Medicina Alternativa, Colombo, Srilanka. Practicing acupuncture for 25 years.

Presently he is Senior Consultant Acupuncturist and Acuyoga Therapist with VIMHANS (Vidyasagar Institute of Mental Health & Neurosciences) and Indian Spinal Injuries Centre, Delhi.

He has travelled world wide and attended several International conferences. His TV programme has been telecast on DD, Star TV, Aaj Tak, Channel 7, now being regularly telecast on Sadhana TV every Sunday at 8.20 pm.

His articles regualarly appear in newpaper magazines-Hindustan Times, Navbharat, Hindu, Life positive, Anant.

He Has delivered Health awareness lectures in Rotary, Lion clubs, MMTC, IAAI, STC, RBI NHPC, EIL.

He is using Acupunture and Acuyoga (combined therapy of Ancient Chinese System of Acupuncture and Oriental Yoga to treat chronic incurable diseases).

	Acuyoga Workshop and acupuncture camps
	Acuyoga workshops and Acupunture treatment camps for 7–10 days are held from time to time when organized by certain clubs, viz., Rotary, Lions Clubs or any other organizations. Recently 7days camp was organized at Mauritius.
