ACNE / PIMPLES |

It is commonest of all skin conditions,especially
in teenagers, usually occurs around puberty between 12yrs – 20yrs
of age , due to harmonal changes, Poor personal hygiene , Sedimentary
life style, Lack of exercise, Emotional stress, Dandruff, Constipation
& other stomach disorders.
It is inflammatory disease of skin with formation of an eruption of papules
/pustules, if not treated in time it may lead to scar formation. It affects

LEUCODERMA |

This condition is many a times hereditary and causes social problems.
Leucoderma spots are hypomelanin pigment patches caused by improper distribution
of melanin pigment in the skin. At times the hair also turn grey. Sometimes
the whole body is affected giving ‘European look’. Generally
the spots or patches are bilaterally symmetrical. Occasionally white spots
are found in the scalp and the bunch of hair arising from that area is
also grey white Treatment: |

• Plum blossom therapy on the white spots ,they'll be tapped once a day,
for about half a
minute at each spot. The area should turn into reddish but
it should not be bleed. |

PSORIASIS AND ECZEMA |

Psoriasis is manifested by silvery scaly patches on the skin with intermittent
but intense pruritus. No exact cause is known in modern medicine;
It is thought to be an autoimmune disorder. Psoriasis often runs in families.
It generally starts in adolescence. It sometimes occurs in association
with arthritis.
Eczema is a superficial inflammation of the skin mainly affecting the
epidermis. It’s cause may be exogenous or endogenous. According to
TCM, generally it is excess lung. Eczema patches are blackish in colour
and do cause itching off and on. Eczema may be controlled by drugs so
we get only resistant cases which are much less in number as compared
to those of psoriasis. There is no satisfactory treatment in modern medicine
for for both conditions. Acupuncture treatment is very effective and same
for both.We advise the patients to avoid eatables like brinjal, groundnut,
salt, fish etc. as these food stuffs may aggravate it. |
